Mt. Vernon is excited to announce the upcoming launch of the Mini-Marauder Beginnings, serving staff's children from birth to age three. Plans are for the Mini-Marauder Beginnings to be located in the MVCSC Administration Building on the northeast end, next to the Mini-Marauder Preschool. 
 

We anticipate the renovation of the Mini-Marauder Beginnings Early Learning Academy will be completed and ready to open in January 2026. Competitive pricing is currently being reviewed, and we expect initial enrollment opportunities to be limited to Mt. Vernon staff, depending on demand. 
 

The program will align with the school calendar and will offer a 7:00 a.m. drop-off time, similar to current Mini-Marauder Preschool operations. The Mini-Marauder Beginnings will undergo state certification to ensure it meets all licensing and quality standards for early childhood care.
